Have you ever looked at an abstract painting and thought to yourself, I can do that! Well you sure can. With a little guidance you too can have loads of fun playing with brilliant color. Working with the whole spectrum of colors is one way to see how colors work and how they relate to each other. This is an awesome stepping stone to other abstract paintings.

  • 3/4” Flat (TB37) - or ½” Flat  (TB44 ) for smaller canvases
  • 12 Filbert (TB44)
  • ¾” Rake (TB82) for large r canvas sizes – or  3/8” Rake (TB81)  for smaller sizes such as  8x10 or 9x12 canvas

  Miscellaneous Supplies: 

  • Wet palette to set paints out on & waxed palette for blending
  • All standard painting supplies including water container and paper towels
  • Disposable plastic, tin, or heavy weight paper plate for the Gesso
  • Small Sponge Roller
  • Fine sand paper or sanding block
  • Small container for the Extender Medium
  • Transfer paper is optional
  • Large c-thru ruler or yard stick
  • Palette knife for mixing Gesso with water.
  • Grey Chalk pencil OR a hard lead pencil (4H)
