Downloadable e-Pattern Packet - Shinda by Glenice Moore - Acrylic

The original painting of this beautiful mountain gorilla belongs to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International and was painted by wildlife artist Glenice Moore, who retains the copyright.   She has been asked for years to please make the instructions available  and now, we are happy to announce that it is available exclusively at Art Apprentice Online as a downloadable pattern packet!    Detailed instructions, many step by step photos, line drawing and full page color reference photo.

Shinda was born in 1977 and was one of the few surviving mountain gorilla group leaders that were first studied and monitored by the late Dian Fosse.  Shinda took over as the leader of his group when his brother Zia (who along with Pablo were in the movie “Gorillas In The Mist” ) passed away in 1993.  He reigned as the leader of his group for 15 years and provided stability as was evidenced by the 29 members that remained with him until his death . . ..  (more of his store is included in the packet).
